Elk Hair Caddis - Hot Spot

Hot Spot Elk Hair Caddis

The Hot Spot Elk Hair Caddis pairs an elk hair wing with a contrasting hot spot, adding an attractor accent to a familiar caddis dry-fly profile. It gives you a different look when trout are feeding at the surface and you want more than a subdued imitation. Choose sizes 12, 14, or 16 to suit the insects and water in front of you, then start with a drag-free drift through a likely feeding lane. An occasional gentle twitch or short skate offers another presentation when caddis are moving across the surface.
