Hook Pairing Recommendations:
These pair great with size 8-10 Creek Life Tungsten Bead Jig Heads, or single hooks and Micro EWG Hooks
Fishing Methods:
Lurking beneath the creek stones like its namesake, the Boulder Bandit is a sculpin-style soft plastic bait built for ambush. Modeled after the elusive mountain sculpin from Appalachian streams, this compact bottom-dweller is the perfect tool for tricking wary trout, smallmouth, and panfish in clear, shallow waters.
With a realistic profile, subtle tail flick, and textured body that mimics real creek fish, the Bandit blends seamlessly with rock and gravel bottoms — making it a deadly choice when fish are hugging the creekbed and playing hard to catch.
HOW TO FISH THE BOULDER BANDIT:
-
Drop Shot Rig – Most effective. Let the Bandit hover just above rock structure, twitch subtly, and pause. Deadly for picky fish.
-
Split Shot Rig – Great for shallow runs. Drag slowly along the bottom for natural, stunned baitfish action.
-
Micro Jig Head – Bounce it along boulders and ledges. The stubby profile and natural fall trigger ambush strikes.
-
Free Rig or Weightless – For spooky creeks or pressured water, let the Bandit glide naturally into eddies and pools.
WHY CHOOSE THE BOULDER BANDIT:
-
Designed to match native creek sculpin and darter species
-
Perfect for fishing boulders, ledges, log jams, and undercut banks
-
Subtle action ideal for cold fronts, pressured fish, and ultra-clear water
-
Available in hyper-realistic Appalachian colorways
Whether you're chasing wild trout in misty hollers or slipping after smallmouth in rocky shoals, the Boulder Bandit gives you an edge where it counts — down low, where the fish live and the bites are earned.

I bought this with dropsotting in mind and they did performed very well but I've found this are excellent midstrolling search baits as well. Very flexible, nice colors and fish appealing, you won't be dissapointed trying this ones out.
